| The hotel we stayed in was great. BUT you need to specify the stop as GION Shijo. Not just Shijo- since we took the directions by the exact words we ended up at a further station which took about 30 min. |

| I really enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The heater in the room was great. Free Internet was also a bonus! Laundry facilities and helpful staff made this a great choice for Kyoto. | |

| This hostel was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and spacious enough. The staff is the best. They're all really nice and speak English. If you want to know things to do, places to go, where to eat or shop... they love helping you. And location! right on the river, in Gion, next to the Kawaramachi bridge... Right next to all the night life. A million great restaurants, shops, and bars nearby. I will definitely go back. Huzzah! | |

| The place is decked out with pop culture and other icons. Its location is great, right near Gion and Pontocho with the best night life in Kyoto. The staff can speak English skillfully and are very helpful. | |
